Audience research is the foundation for understanding who your users are, their needs, behavior, and how they interact with your site.
Defining your research objectives. Understand what you want to know:
What segments of users come to your site?
What are their pain points, expectations and barriers?
What user journey do they take to complete the target action?
Collect data. Use multiple data sources:
Analytics data : study the site metrics ( Google Analytics , Yandex.Metrica ).
Example: Which pages do users spend the most lithuania email list time on? Where do they leave most often?
Surveys and interviews : Collect opinions from real customers.
Example: Use Google Forms, website surveys, or phone calls to get feedback.
Heatmap : Analyze how users interact with your site.
Example: Using Google Analytics, Yandex.Metrica, you can find out which elements generate more interest (clicks).
Audience segmentation. Divide users into groups based on criteria:
Age, gender, geography.
Interests, values.
Pains and tasks.
Stages of decision making (awareness, interest, comparison, purchase).
Create portraits (personas). Create several types of users:
Name, age, profession, motivation, tasks, barriers, behavior.
Example for an online store: Anna, 28, marketer . Looking for high-quality and inexpensive office accessories. Pains: long delivery time, no guarantee
