DKIM record DomainKeys Identified Mail

Post by mehadihasan123456 »

DKIM ( DomainKeys Identified Mail ) is an email digital signature technology that helps verify the authenticity of the sender and the integrity of the message. A DKIM record is a DNS record that contains the public key for verifying the DKIM signature.

Here's how DKIM works:

The sender creates a digital signature for each message sent. The signature is created using a private key that is part of the sender and is stored on their mail server.
The sender's server adds a special DKIM-Signature field to the hungary email list email header, which contains information about the sender's signature and domain.
The recipient receives the message and looks at the DKIM-Signature field in the header.

The recipient's server uses DNS to look up the public DKIM key for the sender's domain. The public key is stored in the DKIM record.
The recipient uses the public key to verify the digital signature. It extracts information from the header and body of the message and checks whether the signature matches this data. If the signature is correct, it means that the message was not modified in transit and was sent from a trusted sender.
If the DKIM signature is correct, the recipient's server can use this information to make decisions about how to deliver and process the message.

For example, the message can be marked as verified and not spam or phishing.
A DKIM record is part of the DNS zone of the sender's domain and contains a public key that is used to verify the digital signature. Recipients can verify DKIM signatures to verify the authenticity of the sender and the integrity of messages.
