Management should also examine its attitude toward distributors

Post by mehadihasan123456 »

I have seen companies express arrogance toward distributors along the lines of, "We are a Company, so we can damn well do what we want - and if someone doesn't like it, they can get lost!" A company that treats distributors this way is simply opening the door to distributors running away. Management must remember that with all the new MLMs that have sprung up in the last 10 years, distributors have a lot of choice. Successful companies understand that they need distributors more than distributors need them. Accordingly, they put distributor and customer satisfaction first.

Distributors must do a similar self-assessment. The key question a distributor must ask themselves is, "Why do I want to change companies?" If a distributor is jumping between companies with the intention of making line data a quick buck and moving on (like an "MLM addict"), they must evaluate the consequences of treating their branch as if it were private property. We must not forget that a branch is made up of real people, each with their own feelings, goals, aspirations, and dreams. It is not a piece of industrial machinery that can be used, moved, and replaced when it wears out.

The game of branch manipulation leaves many people morally devastated and causes emotional reactions ranging from bitterness to extreme hostility. In addition, those who believe the distributor and follow him into a new program with new promises may be confused and feel cheated when the distributor reneges on those promises and moves on to the next program. Finally, if the distributor is driven only by self-interest and acts without regard for the surf in his wake, he must realize that he will be branded with the "I am selfish and arrogant - file a lawsuit against me" stamp.
