How to Do Batch Editing in Lightroom for Efficient Photo Processing

Post by rabiakhatun939 »

Batch editing in Adobe Lightroom is a powerful technique that allows photographers and editors to apply the same adjustments to multiple photos simultaneously, significantly speeding up the workflow. This feature is especially useful when working with large sets of images from events, product shoots, or travel photography where consistent editing is needed across similar shots.

To perform batch editing in Lightroom, start by selecting the photos you want to edit in the photo editing services Library or Develop module. You can do this by holding the Ctrl (Cmd on Mac) key and clicking on individual photos or by using Shift to select a range. Once selected, apply your desired adjustments—such as exposure, white balance, contrast, and color grading—to one photo. Then, use the Sync button at the bottom right of the Develop module to copy those settings to the rest of the selected images. In the synchronization dialog, you can choose which specific adjustments to apply, giving you granular control over the batch edit.

Another efficient method is to create and apply presets. After perfecting the edits on a single photo, save those settings as a preset, then apply that preset to multiple photos during import or later through the Quick Develop panel in the Library module.
