How to Use Google Lighthouse
Now that you know what Google Lighthouse is and how it works, let's take a look at the different ways you can use it to audit your pages.

Using Lighthouse with Chrome DevTools
In your Chrome browser, you can run a Google Lighthouse audit with Chrome DevTools.

Open the web page you want to audit.

Right-click anywhere on the page and select "Inspect".

Select " Lighthouse " from the dashboard toolbar. If you can't cameroon phone data find the Lighthouse option, click on the two arrows at the end of the toolbar. You'll find it there.

There you can select one, several or all categories, depending on the aspects of your website you want to analyze. Then click on " Analyze page load ".

The tool then generates a report for you. You will find your audit scores for each category at the top.

You can click on a specific category to learn more. In this example, we clicked on the " Performance " audit.

Note: You'll notice that Lighthouse measures your performance for six speed metrics (instead of five) when you perform a performance audit with DevTools.

The additional metric is Time to Interactive (TTI). It calculates the time it takes for a page to become fully interactive for users.
