We have transformed the way we teach in Spanish schools

There are many ways to engage socially as a company. Innovation and emerging technologies undoubtedly offer huge opportunities for brands to positively contribute to improving their environment.

One of the companies that has used its capabilities to do its part for social good is Samsung through an ambitious virtual reality technology project with a charitable and social background with which it aims to fight bullying.

To explain how it works and the reasons for this initiative, Francisco Hortigüela , director of communications, institutional relations & corporate citizenship at Samsung Electronics Iberia, participated in Sustainable Brands Madrid 2017.

"Research and development is a fundamental part of Samsung's DNA ," he says.

With 34 research centres around the world and a fifth of its workforce dedicated to this field, the company has established itself as a benchmark in innovation.

And this innovation is reflected in the educational projects that have been launched in recent times.

"We believe that technology can have a huge impact in this area," he says.
