Do you have a favorite app? I use the app of my favorite fashion brand. I
always look forward to the notifications of new products and how to coordinate them.
But how effective is the app?

Here are some interesting findings from a US survey.

App users visit the store once more per month
How much difference does the frequency of visits between customers who use the app and those who don't?
In addition to Costco, which is popular in Japan, seven truemoney database shopping centers including Kohl's, Macy's, Nordstrom, Sears, Target, and Walmart were surveyed in this study. An
American mobile data analysis company conducted a survey of customers at 49 stores in the Los Angeles area for five gThe results showed that in six shopping centers, excluding Nordstrom, customers who used the app visited the store more frequently.
On average, they visited the store once more per month.
The biggest difference was at Kohl's, where customers who used the app visited 2.7 times a month, compared to 1.4 times for customers who did not, a difference of almost double.
At Walmart, where customers visited the store most frequently, those who used the app visited 2.9 times compared to 1.9 times without the app.

App users stay an average of 7 minutes longer
Another survey question was how long customers stayed in the store during each visit.
For all seven of these questions, we found that customers using the app stayed longer.
On average, they stayed seven minutes longer.
