We all love a wide selection! The new rating column fulfills exactly this longing for "more". In SeaTable, the rating column now offers four styles. In addition to the star as the standard icon, you can now also choose the heart, the thumbs up or the flag as an icon. The icon also no longer has to be orange.

The redesigned Rating column is not just america rcs data about aesthetics, but also about convenience. As with other numeric columns, SeaTable now calculates aggregated values for Rating columns at the bottom of the table - minimum, maximum, average and sum. In grouped views, SeaTable also calculates aggregated values for each group.
Finally, the rating column has been optimized for use on mobile devices. With the latest version, it can be easily created on a mobile phone. In the past, SeaTable refused to do this. In addition, the icons in the rating column have been slightly enlarged, which makes them more comfortable to use on small screens.
Unfortunately, a further development for the rating column did not make it into version 2.5. Therefore, here is the announcement: Starting with SeaTable 2.6, rating columns will also be able to have a default value.
