Ads may also appear at other times

Post by sumaiyakhatun26 »

Many marketers assume that in Facebook or Google Ads campaigns they are competing with the same companies they do in real life. As I mentioned, this may be a flawed approach.

The owner of a small fishing shop may be competing with a nearby sports market that has a fishing department.

On the Internet, however, the competition is growing with several other markets and a lot of online stores for enthusiasts. The market looks completely different. That's why it's worth finding out who you're actually competing with on the web.

How to do it? The first thing that comes to mind is simply using a search engine. When middle east rcs data you type a few keywords into Google, you will see ads from your rivals. You can also click on them and see what landing pages they are targeting and how these pages are built.

Simple? Sure, but also ineffective. You know how many variables are responsible for displaying an ad.

Your Google Ads competitors may be targeting different locations, different age groups, or keywords you didn't think of.

You may not be in the target group of your ad, or the algorithm itself may not have considered you as someone who is likely to convert.

What's more, if a search results in your own ad being displayed, you're theoretically hurting your own campaign's results (if those few impressions matter to you at this point).
