✔ At least two months before the holidays, cover your store and website with messages highlighting this offer.

✔ In October, run an in-store campaign in which cashiers verbally promote your holiday delivery service to every customer.

✔ Sweeten the offer with a break of X% of sales turkey number data a popular local cause/organization/institution.

✔ Promote your shipping service through your social accounts.

✔ Try to get your shipping service mentioned in local print and radio news.

✔ Set clear dates for when the last shopping can be done to reach your destinations in time for the holidays.

✔ Connect with USPS, FedEx, or UPS so they can pick up packages from your location daily.

✔ Determine the financials of your shipping charges. You may need to experiment to see if free shipping will burn too much of a hole in your pocket, or if it's necessary to compete with online giants during the holidays.



Not every business is a holiday shopping destination, and online shopping may have become too dominant in some categories to overcome the Amazon habit. But, if you decide you have an opportunity here, designate 2018 as the year to experiment with shipping to improve in the new year.
