Audience research
In audience research, we need to focus on high percentages (super high index rates are great, but not required). Push channels (especially those with strong targeting capabilities) work better with high index rates. This makes sense, we need to know that 80% of our users have some particular inclination (because we are looking for the base case), not that five users over-index on a specific topic (those five who love a specific topic are great for targeted advertising).
