The metaverse is all over the tech industry, which is also rooting for the much broader concept of Web3. And the omnipresence of these two concepts seems to have resonated even with ordinary people. According to a recent global study by Capgemini Research Institute , the skepticism that permeated the concept of the metaverse until recently is slowly fading away (although there is still uncertainty regarding a number of aspects directly related to this technology).
The report, conducted in twelve different countries, reveals that 9 out of slovenia number data 10 consumers (93%) admit that the metaverse actually sparks their curiosity. And more than half (51%) say they would use this technology if they had access to it.
In line with the underlying curiosity about this concept, are quite high. 77% expect the metaverse to impact in some way the way interactions between people and brands are forged.
Capgemini Research Institute’s research also provides very useful insights into what people would like to use the metaverse for in the future. The metaverse applications that users are most interested in are interacting with friends and family (43%) and with coworkers (39%).
