According to Mikhail Khmelev, BIS is thus studying how to organize interaction between central banks of different countries for trading national cryptocurrency, how to organize and automate the work of a market maker, how to saturate the market with liquidity. At the same time, they are considering this trading in a decentralized mode, which in itself is quite progressive. "Obviously, our Central Bank will have to conduct similar studies when launching a digital ruble with the prospect of using it for international settlements. Perhaps, the developments of colleagues will be useful to it," added Mikhail Khmelev.
