Scientists from the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) have designed an environment for the production and operation of aviation and rocket and space technology. The goal of the development is to transfer the aviation industry to a digital environment at any stage of production. This will help reduce development and delivery times, as well as improve the quality and safety of aviation products.
The project includes several iceland whatsapp resource areas of work. One of them is a digital platform for weight design. It is needed to correct deviations in the weight of aircraft due to the so-called "weight" summary of the product, which provides real-time data on the mass of fuel and aircraft load to adjust the weight of aircraft. The platform received its first license from the United Aircraft Corporation, and is now being implemented at its enterprises by PJSC Il and KnAAZ named after Yu.A. Gagarin.
of high-tech products, as well as fierce competition between major market players, the requirements for design and production technologies are increasing. Using the digital environment, we have the opportunity to begin testing equipment three years before the appearance of a full-scale sample," said Dmitry Strelets, Acting Director of Institute No. 1 "Aviation Technology", Head of NIO-101 MAI.
The second area of work is the project "Complex Calculated and Experimental Strength". Scientists evaluate the aerodynamics of an aircraft with the required aircraft strength criteria for a safe flight. Usually, these tasks are solved separately, so the weight of the structure at the initial stages of design is set with a reserve. For example, the wing of an aircraft turns out to be heavier than necessary for flights. The developed solution made it possible to reduce the aerodynamic loads for the aircraft by 10-12%, which helped to reduce the weight of the wing by more than a ton.
Another major area of work for MAI scientists is the Digital Product Case project. Its goal is to develop a system for collecting data on the created aircraft. The development will ensure quality control of the aircraft, reduce the time and labor intensity of data processing. The customers of the project are the United Aircraft Corporation, KnAAZ named after Yu. A. Gagarin, JSC NAZ, Irkut Corporation and JSC Reshetnev.
"Information at enterprises may be in different systems, and somewhere it may still be stored in paper form. Therefore, organizing an environment that aggregates information from different systems to form an electronic form is very important," noted Dmitry Strelets.
The digital environment for the development, certification, production and operation of aviation and rocket and space technology was created within the framework of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science's "Priority 2030" program (the "Science and Universities" national project).
