What content for your newsletter?

Post by sakibkhan22197 »

If you haven't created a free giveaway yet, I highly recommend looking into it.

This is a gift that you offer to people who sign up for your newsletter. It can be an ebook, a checklist, a series of emails or videos. There are no real rules, except that this gift must be attractive to your target and only to your target, it is not necessary that this gift pleases everyone, it is pointless
Once you have created this famous gift, it is time to configure Mailchimp so that it is sent automatically. First, I recommend that you save your gift in PDF format and then upload this document to your website. To download this document, proceed in the same way as for an image. A URL will automatically be generated, save it!

This URL is the direct link to your gift, copy it into your browser to see what it looks like.

Now, back to Mailchimp! You should still be in the “Signup thailand email list Forms” section of your list. If you’re lost click on “Lists” at the top, the name of the list you’re interested in. Then “Signup Forms”, then “General Forms”. From the drop-down menu, select “Final Welcome Email” as below. It is imperative that you select “Send a final welcome email”.

Now, personalize the content of this email, add your colors and include the link to your free gift.

Remember to change the subject of your email! The default subject is "registration confirmed", not very fun... Tell people that this is the email where they will find their gift and take the opportunity to give them a warm welcome!

Step 4: Create and send your first newsletter
That’s it, it’s time to send your first newsletter! Click on “Campaigns” at the top, then click on the “Create Campaigns” button at the top right. You have several options, but I always use “Regular Campaign”. You select the list you want to send your newsletter to and click “Next” at the bottom.

Here, you choose a name for your campaign (this information is only for you and will depend on your organization), indicate the subject of the email (it must be appealing), check that the other parameters correspond to what you want. Don't waste too much time on these last settings, focus more on the subject. Now we attack the fun part of the process, the design of your newsletter!

This is where Mailchimp really makes a difference with other free offers. It makes it very easy to create hyper-personalized newsletters. First of all, you need to select a template, which is the backbone of your newsletter. Think about what you want to put in your email and select the most suitable template.

Once your template is selected, you can add your content. The image at the top is the ideal place to place your logo. On your right, you will see that there are several options available (buttons, separators, ...). I advise you to explore everything, to test, that's how you will master the tool.

If you click on “Design”, you will be able to change the fonts and colors that you will use for your newsletter. I recommend that you stay in the same codes as your site and your brand. Internet users must make the connection between you, the newsletter, your site and your social networks.

Once you have created the perfect template, click on “Save as a Template” at the top. This will allow you to use it again and very easily the next time you send.

You can build your newsletter however you want. Usually there is a welcome message, links to new content you have created, your blog post, your products, tips, … Once your newsletter or “Campaign” as Mailchimp calls it, click “Next” at the bottom, check that everything is correct and if you are ready click “Send” to send it immediately, if not, click “Schedule” to schedule it to be sent later.
