Lesson for CISOs: Users are wary of AI

Post by relemedf5w023 »

AI systems are certainly worth investing in to help identify patterns that can improve the productivity of security teams. But don’t expect the technology to detect new and unknown threats or replace human security analysts. Nor will it automate the work of searching through huge data sets. In that case, the initiative remains with experts, although AI can help them in some cases.

For the past 50 years, we have been within striking distance of a breakthrough in AI. Despite the industry hype, that breakthrough remains elusive.

Safety Tales: Leaving the Island
Vladimir Bezmaly | 13.08.2020
Here it is already August. It is getting colder at night, but the daytime is still hot. This year Johann has not yet had a vacation, but in September... In September he was counting on going to a service sanatorium. As a high-ranking official, this was due to his status.

In the meantime, we need to think about the next task. An agent is stuck on the southern islands. He needs to be evacuated urgently. However, it is unclear how. He can only be taken out of the airport. But the china whatsapp data is that the airport has a facial recognition system controlled by artificial intelligence. And if it is possible to somehow deceive the police officer, then how can we deceive the system?

This thought did not give Johann any peace.

- Good morning, boss!

- Good morning, Ray! How are your kids?

- Thank you, great! We just arrived. We were on holiday at the seaside camp for children of military personnel. Happy, tanned! They want more! Thank you for explaining how to send them there. Soon my wife and I will go on holiday, and grandma will come to see the children.

- Well done! Have a nice rest!

- Good morning, boss! Rita is here to see you. She's already waiting for you.
