How to easily leverage the API

The Google Search Console API is your friend. This summer it got even friendlier, providing 16 months of data . You might not know that this API can give you more than 999 keywords. For example, the API gives you more than 45,000 for our Green Lane site. And we’re not even a very large site. That’s right — the API can give you keywords, clicks, average position, impressions, and CTR %.

If you're not very technical and the idea of an API scares you, I uganda number data you have nothing to fear. I'm going to show you a way to leverage data using Google Sheets.

Here's what you'll need:

Google Sheets (free)
Super Matrix Add-on (free trial, but a paid tool)
If you haven't heard of Google Sheets, it's one of the many tools that Google provides for free. It competes directly with Microsoft Excel. It's a cloud-based spreadsheet that works exceptionally well.

If you’re not familiar with Supermetrics, it’s an add-on for Google Sheets that allows you to pull data from other sources. In this case, one source would be Google Search Console. Now, while Supermetrics has a free trial, paying is the way to go. It’s worth it!
