Microconversions for an online store

Post by hasibaakterss3309 »

Microconversions are the stages of a sales funnel: from familiarization to the moment of purchase.

The following target actions can be defined for an online store:

View the contacts page.
Clicking on buttons, links, mexico telegram data phone numbers, and so on.
Loading price list.
Watch a video review of the product.
Newsletter subscription.
Start communicating in online chat.
Request a callback.
Sending a message via the contact form.
Time spent on the site.
Viewing a certain number of pages on the site.
Go to your social networks.
Registration.
Authorization.
Adding a product to comparison.
Adding a product to the cart.
All of these actions are considered intermediate or part of the sales funnel. But these micro-conversions should be tracked. Analytics will show you at what stage a potential buyer avoids the main goal - buying a product or ordering a service.

How to set up goals in Google Analytics
If you have Google Analytics code installed, you know that the service will stop processing new data from July 1, 2023. Therefore, it is recommended to switch to Google Analytics 4 and, therefore, set up goals on the new resource.

In addition, goals are best set up in Google Tag Manager (GTM). To do this, you need to create an account in GTM. We will not go into details about setting up this tool now. You can find everything you need in the Google Tag Manager help .

Goals in Universal Analytics
It is quite possible that you are using Universal Analytics. Therefore, we will tell you how to set up target actions in it. To do this, go to the Admin section and select the Goals item .
