The path of Beatriz Gagliardo, head of public affairs at Oficina Consultoria , in the political world began long before her training in journalism.
At the last event of the Inteligov Community meeting season, the specialist spoke about her passion for politics - from her first steps as a reporter to her transition to government relations -, defined the concept cyprus mobile database of “public affairs” and reported on her participation in movements that promote female protagonism in the area.
From journalism to government relations
Beatriz's passion for politics began long before she graduated in journalism. Her first contact with political journalism occurred in her first year of college, when she became a political reporter in São Bernardo do Campo, her hometown.
“I was never from a political family, but I always liked the subject and even watched political news. My mother was always very politically minded, so that was something that was passed on to me in some way,” Beatriz reveals, highlighting the family influence on her early interest in political issues.
While covering local politics as a reporter, she closely followed important events, including the first election of President Lula. She also worked as a journalist during the administrations of governors such as Mário Covas and Geraldo Alckmin, experiences that shaped her view on politics and sparked a growing interest in understanding the behind-the-scenes of the National Congress.
